Yes, it depends... if no one tell me to shut my mouth, I'll be the talker ^^ . But that doesn't mean I'm not a good listener, I just have to do a really huge effort =p JUST KIDDING !!!
Even though, I'm always telling stories and I can hardly shut up, there's always a place and a time for everything, the secret lies in knowing when it's appropriate to stop talking and listen.
Balance !!! it's always the perfect choice... And think about it, choosing both... but giving to the alternative of listening a lot of opportunities, you will be learning more about the other person than if you do all the talk. I prefer to stop, shut up, really look, pay attention and really listen (sometimes ^^) ... I turn off even my own thoughts (they are annoying, so It's kind of healthy if I do that for a serious amount of time =p ) while someone is talking to me about something important.
^^

I am a listener and because of that, many persons come to me with their personal problems.
I give them the attention they need by listening to them.
I have always been a quiet girl. I certainly am not a talker.
I am very, very, very, shy.

I'm a bit of both. You have to be if you are a teacher.

I'm a listener. Talking makes me uncomfortable a lot of the time.
