kvass is similar to pepsi in colour and to beer in the way it is made. (excuse my grammar if it's not perfect). but unlike pepsi it is very good for health and unlike beer it is made of rye bread. the main ingridients are water, stale rye bread, sugar and yeast. some people also add raisins, beetroot or some dried fruit. Then they put it to some warm place so that fret could begin. In 24 hours kvass is ready. It is a very popular drink in summer. We also make a kind of cold summer soup of it. It is called "okroshka".

kvas is russian pepsi.... :) there are 2 types of kvas (sweat and not sweat) kvas made from rye bread.....
