In the second sentence,the structure seems like let+ a sentence,but I failed to find the usage of "let" of this sort. Could anyone please explain it to me? Thank you so much.

Nowadays, many printed books are converted to electronic form by automated scanning, and there are often scanning errors. They are usually errors in single letters. This might be one of them.
