I got off work early today. I have finished all the work at hand, so I decided to give the spare time to my daughter. And another reason is I want to avoid the traffic peak time (rush hour?). It’s a big upset when caught by a traffic jam.

Hi Ananshishishi. You are correct to use either 'peak traffic time' or 'rush hour' or 'rush hour traffic'. Nicely done.

“Give the spare time to my daughter” sounds a little strange. I would say “spend the spare time with my daughter”
“And another reason” is grammatically correct, but it just sounds too long. You can just say “also”
And yes, “rush hour” means the peak traffic time, exactly!
“A big upset” isn’t grammatically correct because “upset” is an adjective, not a noun. You can say that it’s a big inconvenience.
And the prepositions is “in” for “caught in a traffic jam”

I got off work early today. I have finished all the work at hand, so I decided to spend the extra time with my daughter. Also, I wanted to avoid the
rush hour traffic. It’s a big inconvenience when you get caught in a traffic jam.
