What does "well overdue" mean?
E.g. John thinks Diane’s indecision about the holiday is surprising since her holiday is well overdue
Does it mean here that it's in advance, so it shouldn't be a problem?

It means she’s waited a long time for it. It’s been needed or expected for a while
“I’ve not seen my friend Anna for ages so a coffee together is long overdue”
