What is a sensitive area? Specifically in the sense of working in sensitives areas. This is the context: "The hiring of relatives for all employees, including supervisors, will be at the discretion of the General Manager. No relatives will be allowed for those already employed in sensitive areas." Thanks!

Learning foreign languages

I've heard that once you learn a foreign language for the first time, it's easier for you to learn a second foreign language than for another person to learn a first one. Do you agree? What do you think; is it true or false? And what is your experience?

Another exercise on CONDITIONALS. Please, correct my mistakes! :) Dear Shaun, I haven't heard from you since I lost my job. I've tried to phone you but you don't answer and my emails keep getting returned. Everybody believes I was the one stealing laptops. Now I think I made a big mistake. If I *hadn't been working* late that evening, I *wouldn't have seen* you stealing the laptops. I *might have spoken* to you first if the boss *hadn't asked* me about it early the next morning. I *would have told* him it was you if you *wasn't* such a close friend. Unfortunately, the boss knew I was hiding something and sacked me. If I *were* a better liar I *might not have lost* my job. I have one question for you: if you *had known* that I was going to get fired, *would you have told* the truth - that you were the thief? Nick
