I'm having trouble with Skype I'm having trouble with skype with regards to my teaching and tutoring. I'm finding that the older versions will not see the newer versions with regards to video which is a nightmare! Does anyone have any feedback regarding the other programmes available for video chat? Specifically with regards to their overall reliability. Very grateful for any help as I want to get away from Skype which makes me look unproffesional as a teacher! Vicki

The first day of the rest of my life? Yesterday, I had my first informal tutoring session courtesy of italki. I didn't really know what to expect. It was a wonderful experience! I met a great person from Spain and we talked for an hour about Spanish and English culture and festivals. It felt really good to help someone with their language learning, teaching them new words and improving their confidence. I now know why people do it for a living. I hope to help many more people improve their English via italki and make more international friends! I am eager to finish my TEFL degree now too. It's worth has been shown to me. My 2 year plan which has been set in motion is looking more and more like the right plan for my life everyday. Hooray!

If you had just one wish, what would it be used for?

If I had just one wish, I'd wish for my Dad to still be alive. This is quite selfish as my Dad had breathing problems, but to see him for just one more day would be wonderful!
