In Spanish, there are two forms for the verb "To Be" in English. These are "Ser" and "Estar". Do you know what's the difference?

"Ser" is used to express the idea of a lasting features/characteristics. "Estar" for location of objects/persons or temporary states.

"Estar" is used to express the idea of a lasting features/characteristics. "Ser" for location of objects/persons or temporary states.

Why you people need to have two forms of the verb "To Be"? Isn't enough with one?

If you want to state that something as a lasting feature, which one of these options would you use?

Both options are okey as you can interchange the verbs.

If you want to state that something is located somewhere, which verb should you use?
"Ser" or "Estar"?

If you want to express that you are having a temporary emotion caused by something external, which one of the two verbs should you use to say "I am happy"?

What is feliz? (Don't be silly teacher, we can infere that "feliz" means happy based on the question you made.

You want to express an inner state of yours, something that is not caused by external conditions but is rather part of how you are, how would you say that being always happy is a characteristic of yours? 

Like, do you really have that difference?

Let's say that you want to express a temporary feature of an object, such as the temperarture of the boiling water (as it will not always be hot, at some point the temperature will become colder)
