Miguel is a fantastic teacher, especially if literature is something you're interested in. He selects works appropriate to your level and interest and provides you significant runway to use the language, while making the class feel like a dialogue between equals. I can't recommend him enough!

Miguel is very fun to work with, he is reliable and extremely knowledgeable as a Spanish professor! We have great conversations and I have learned to speak (conversationally) much better in just 3 short months. I look forward to continuing the lessons and becoming a completely fluent Spanish speaker, thanks to his support and excellent teaching!

Miguel is very patient during class and pays close attention to every detail. He goes the extra mile to explain difficult grammar topics and colloquial terms. Highly recommended if you want to speak flawless Spanish and highly interested in learning Mexican Spanish and culture.

I came to Miguel with the ability to speak some Spanish already; however, I feel like I have learned a lot over just the last few weeks. I feel more confident in my ability to hold a conversation, especially in past tense. I used to really struggle with this before taking classes with Miguel. He is knowledgable, patient, and engaging during each class. I look forward to more classes with him.

Miguel is a fantastic teacher—patient, understanding, and he’s always giving me thoughtful references when I’m trying to find the right words to express my ideas. Also, I have learned a lot about vocabulary and sentence structure through the articles he assigns for me to read during our sessions together. It’s a unique aspect of the classes that has pushed me forward with my comprehension skills when it comes to reading in Spanish. I would recommend that you buy sessions with Miguel this very minute! He is the man.

Miguel is just the best. He’s patient, focused, intelligent, helpful and enjoyable to talk with. If you want a brilliant teacher, look no further
