Jerome is a very patient and intelligent teacher. During our sessions he primarily used a book (Nouveau taxi 1) to provide structure to our lessons and created exercises to revise when I had topics I struggled with, as well as providing homework assignments from the book. He speaks very good english and has a great accent in French and is therefore able to support your learning not simply in formal french but also in developing your pronunciation. As he has a strong grasp of French he is also able to explain whether or not a subject or way of speaking is used in contemporary french. Overall Jerome is an excellent teacher and I would definitely recommend him if you are interested in learning french for the first time or to continue from where you left off!

Jérome is an excellent teacher. He is very experienced and skilled in teaching French. I had studied French for several years and felt reasonably comfortable writing but was very lacking in confidence in spoken French. Jerome helped me very quickly to overcome my anxiety. He is very patient, encouraging and motivating.

Jerome is the best teacher to have if you want to learn proper French in a way that makes sense to you and is easy to understand. He makes classes enjoyable and time seems to fly every time. You will make leaps and bounds in your progress even if you may not realise it in the moment.

Jérôme is a great conversationalist-teacher. He puts you at ease so you can speak and feel ok making mistakes, but interjects effectively with grammatical corrections and vocabulary. It’s also a great way to learn about life in France from someone who’s lived there his entire life- not just from news headlines!
