I am an experienced language teacher with 6 years of teaching English and 3 years of teaching Khmer to local and 1 year to online international learners . I completed training at the National Institute of Education and continue to grow through professional development. My teaching styles is student-centered and adaptable, designed to help learners achieve their goals—whether for daily conversation, travel, or culture purposes. As a teacher, I always consider my students as my friends rather than teachers and students and I'll always the materials and methods if they work well if my students or not . I use a range of resources, including flashcards , slideshow lessons with romanization and English translations, to make learning clear and accessible. Notice, before they join the class, I'll send the flashcards with audios to my students before class so that they learn before me. And before each class, I will review past lessons and during the lesson, I encourage students to practice speaking and forming sentences through conversations or online quizzes games which I purchased for making my lessons interactive and interesting, I believe this method gives learners a practical, conversational and joyful experience, helping them build confidence and sound more natural in Khmer.내 수업 자료

Sokneang is very patient and provides you a lot of materials for you to study before lessons so you can review! I really like the format of her lessons, she makes sure that you practice speaking and listening, and constantly quizzes you so that you practice active recall of the language. I’m Cambodian-American and didn’t really know much Khmer, but Sokneang is super kind to me and enthusiastic to help me learn and study the language. I’m having so much fun learning with her, so I highly recommend her!! I feel comfortable being able to practice pronunciation and repeat myself when I struggle and she always introduces me to new words and phrases during the lessons so that I understand more as I learn.

I recently started learning Khmer with Sokneang. Her teaching is very good and I learned a lot already in only a few lessons. She gives me a preview of the lesson in Quizlet, and we review when the lesson starts. She includes audio on the flashcards, which is very helpful. I enjoy her class and look forward to continue learning with Sokneang!

Great lesson with Sokneang! We reviewed the new vocabulary that Sokneang sent me and asked each other questions using the new vocabulary. Sokneang explained how to talk about the past. We also played a game that Sokneang prepared, and worked on reading and blending. Sokneang is extremely supportive and has a fun sense of humor. Her class is fantastic!

Sokneang is a very good teacher who explains Khmer well and is supportive and helpful. She pitches the class to my ability and she replied to messages to help me practice outside of the classroom. If you want to learn Khmer, I would recommend Sokneang :)

Great lesson with Sokneang! We started by reviewing the new vocabulary that Sokneang gave me earlier in the week. We made sentences and questions using the new words. We also played a game that Sokneang created. After that, we learned about vowels combined with "o" group consonants, and practiced blending. Sokneang encouraged me and remarked about my progress. Sokneang always prepares a useful lesson and adapts it as needed. She is very supportive and makes learning fun!

Great lesson with Sokneang! We continued learning how to talk about the weather. Sokneang had me build sentences using the new vocabulary. Sokneang provided flashcards with audio so that I could review before class, which was very helpful. We also played some fun games that Sokneang made. Sokneang is a very caring teacher who makes learning fun!
