Hi there! I'm Julia, a Spanish-American from Barcelona, Spain. I speak native English, Spanish and Catalan, and I'm also fluent in French. I went to Wellesley College in Boston where I obtained my BA in Literature and French Studies. I have experience as an ESL tutor, a French tutor and a Spanish and French translator. I love reading and writing, biking, skating, doing yoga, and learning about different cultures and their traditions!지도 경험
As someone who has been a language student themselves (French), I am an empathetic teacher who is constantly adapting to each student's particular needs. I am very aware that each person learns languages differently, and that there isn't a "one size fits all" approach. I take pleasure in having a knowledge exchange with each student, seeing as I can learn from them as much as they can learn from me. I am an active listener, constantly checking in with the student to make sure we are on course and they feel confident and supported.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
I always look for the most interactive and immersive ways to get a student to interact with the language - first and foremost through conversation, but also through the interaction with the language via reading, listening, and watching. After all, immersing oneself in the culture is the best way to absorb as much of the language as possible. The first lesson serves as a time to introduce ourselves, get to know each other, and make a list of expectations and tangible objectives, both short- and long-term.내 수업 자료
