I'm glad that you are here and exciting to meet you in my class :')
My name is Chi. I am currently living and working in Ho Chi Minh City which located in the South of Vietnam.
I'm working as a Southern Vietnamese teacher in Ho Chi Minh City for more than 4 years.
I love to introduce my beloved Vietnam language and it's culture to everyone.

I'd like to bring enthusiasm and fun to each class and carefully listen to the needs of each student to design lessons that best fit for you.
I will help you build your confidence in speaking Vietnamese and also understand the language so you can use it in different situations.

I mostly focus on pronunciation and the natural, real-life Vietnamese language.
I also focus on teaching speaking foremost, learning to communicate and correct pronunciation because as I see my students struggling with speaking a lot.
For beginner and intermediate level, I have designed lessons for you to go from the very basic knowledge to build up your standard language base to help you to understand how the language works.
For advanced level, I have topics and new vocabularies for you to not only practice Vietnamese but also learn new things in every lessons.
I'm here to help you to achieve your learning purpose.

Chi has a wonderful talent for starting conversations on interesting topics. This is such a great way to build vocabulary. Each new topic introduces many new words related to that topic. I learn at least 20 new words with every new topic she introduces. Thank you Chi for helping me to improve my conversational ability in this way.

I have had with Chi for a long long time and she has always been energetic and caring in every class. She is also really thoughtful and understanding. I have never felt uncomfortable or bored in her class and in fact it's always her class that makes me feel relaxed after a whole day. She is definitely the teacher you want to consider learning Vietnamese with.

I enjoy every lesson with Chi. Today we talked about our favorite books, and how books are a great way to build vocabulary. Each lesson with Chi brings new ways for me to improve, and each lesson is an inspiration for me to learn more.

It's great to be able to talk about new topics every week with Chi. Today we talked about the Great Solar Eclipse of 2024. I learned many wonderful new words. With each new topic I am able to build my vocabulary in new ways. Thank you Chi for helping me learn.
