Another good lesson with Riam. We covered housing and how rooms are used, comparing Western style with Thai style. We covered a lot of ground in just 30 mins. I will now complete the lesson review & practice. Thank you Khun Riam.

A great lesson. We covered a lot of ground, discussing situations and experiences involving air travel. Riam is helping me to remember the Thai I once knew while guiding me to make improvements to my language skills.

Having had 11 hours of lessons with Khun Riam over the past month, I can highly recommend her abilites as a Thai teacher. Khun Riam is a very diligent teacher and is very aware of your needs, always being patient and gently directing you towards improving your Thai language skills. I have achieved exactly what I was hoping for and more. Khun Riam has helped me to significantly improve my Thai and my confidence levels have shot up massively. I can't wait to get to Thailand next week and continue conversing in Thai with everyone I meet. Thank you so much Khun Riam.

Another great lesson. Today we talked about food and restaurants. We role played different situations when ordering food and paying the bill. We also talked about all the food available in Thailand and some of the ingredients used in Thai food and compared it to the type of food I typically eat in a Western country. We also talked about food allergies and different Thai words associated with them. Riam packs a lot into the hour and the time flies by as it is so enjoyable talking with her. I can feel my language skills and confidence improving after just 3 lessons.

I had a 30 minute preliminary lesson with Riam to discuss my requirements and make a plan for future lessons. I am looking to improve my Thai language skills in advance of an extended family holiday to Thailand in 5 week's time. We introduced ourselves, covered many topics and made plans for a way forward for me, all within 30 minutes. Riam was very friendly, understanding and encouraging all the while maintaining a professional role as tutor. i couldn't have asked for more and am looking forward to our next and future lessons.
