Hi everyone! This is a safe LGBTQIA2S+ space. I'm a transgender non-binary person (they/them). I love helping others, and I’m grateful for all the students I’ve met. I enjoy seeing the world through different lenses, so be prepared to receive lots of curious, friendly questions! My current lifestyle can be best described as degrowth. Sadly, my fees recently increased as italki's commissions increased. I offer reduced rates for those who are in a precarious financial situation and are willing to ask for help. I'm in a precarious situation myself, so I'm understanding and solidal. I encourage you to start this conversation at any point of our tutor-student relationship. Reading a lot during childhood helped me develop a great taste for the Italian language and its infinite nuances. Students appreciate my clear and neutral accent. At this time I am not available to help total beginners, as I only offer conversations, not classes. Are you at an intermediate level? Lessons with me will empower you to navigate new scenarios. Are you advanced? We can engage in delightful conversations while perfecting phonetics and vocabulary to your liking. Sadly, my fees recently increased as italki's commissions increased. I have had 3 amazing sessions with Sonai and deeply appreciate the support so far on this language (and life!) learning journey. I normally have so much nervousness in speaking but Sonai has a way of connecting where I don't feel afraid to make mistakes and somehow they seem to understand and the conversation keeps going. It is really great and feels a little miraculous :D. I have left each session feeling more confident and excited in the possibilities to come. Thank you so much for the support Sonai!
