My name is Ryan. I am from Canada but currently, I am living in Thailand. I moved here eight years ago to pursue teaching English as a Second Language and fell in love with it immediately! I began as a homeroom teacher for grade three students in the MEP (Mini English Program) at a government school. Here I worked with students from kindergarten to grade six. Though I mostly taught English, I also helped students learn Math, Science, and Health. From here I went to a private school. The classrooms were smaller and the activities were really fun and engaging for the students! In the last three years I have been taking my skills and applying them to online teaching.지도 경험
The most common feedback I get from parents is that I am very patient. I have learned through my experience that getting frustrated with students does not help anything. This is why I focus on positive reinforcement rather than negative punishment. This means that I don't want to punish students for making mistakes because it is necessary for learning. Instead, I like to reward students when they get things correct, which keeps the classroom atmosphere positive.

I focus on having fun with my students while also helping them learn. Especially with young children, I have found that they respond best when they are offered a fun reward for their work. From physical props (like making pizzas/hamburgers) to digital props (games/songs/flashcards, etc.), I try to have a variety of things that keep classes exciting and help students look forward to learning more. This also helps build confidence in those who need it because the classroom atmosphere is very fun and there is no pressure to perform well (but there are rewards for doing well!).내 수업 자료
