I am currently going back to school for Speech and Language Pathology, so I can better serve my students here on italki that want to focus on accent reduction. Before starting my journey here on italki, I was a Pre-Kindergarten teacher for over 7 years and also worked in Elementary Special Education. I am passionate about teaching and learning and would love to share these passion with you! I'm a very patient person, easy to talk with and open to any type of conversation. I enjoy working out, spending time with family, cooking, baking, camping, gardening and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I love most all types of music. My passion lately has been teaching myself Spanish.지도 경험
I think conversations are the best way to teach and learn another language. I like to go with the flow, and want you to feel at ease while talking. I understand that not every student is on the same level, so I will adjust my pace of speaking to match your level.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
All of my classes are conversation based. I do not teach grammar and do not give homework assignments. All classes are conversation based, or focus on pronunciations and accent reduction if you are interested in that. I only focus on pronunciation or accent reduction at students requests. If you have a topic you want to talk about, we will do that. If you would like help with pronunciation or accent reductions we can focus on that. I am open and ready for our next conversation. It has been my fist class with Jamie and, although I was trembling with fear at first, I calmed down perfectly after just 5 minutes thanks to her supportive attitude. It has been eventually a relaxed conversation that probably has convinced me that I'm a better speaker of English than I am actually. That's the feeling I needed to go forward, just speaking without worries!

I really liked getting in class with Jaime, in this class we talked about my journey so far, and I can talk about my experiences in this journey, I felt that Jaime was very interested in what I was talking about. When I talked to her, I spend very time in italki, searching for a teacher that understand me, and that had a mesh with me, and finally, I found her.
I'm very very thankful for this, and of course, I will keep my journey with her. I aprrecciate all what she did for me so far and I excited to have more and more class with her.
