Great teacher! 🌟 Takeshi is so good at explaining things and it was always interesting to listen to him. I really like his teaching style which is more on the casual side. He also had a lot of resources and studying materials prepared which helped me out a ton! 😊

I'll sound like a broken record, but I cannot recommend Takeshi enough. He really goes the extra mile to ensure you understand & not feel alone in your language-learning journey. Amazing!

I've been taking lessons with Takeshi for going on two years, he always brings a ton of energy and enthusiasm to our lessons and never fails to make them both extremely fun and challenging. Lately we've been working on filling out my vocabulary and developing a more natural pitch accent by watching a pair of interesting short videos and having me share my thoughts about them in Japanese, one of which I study beforehand and prepare and memorize sentences for as a homework assignment and the other which we watch for the first time together and I talk about off the top of my head. We've been using close variations of this method for a few months and I've made leaps and bounds on my Japanese progress! I can't recommend Takeshi enough, especially if you're open to more unconventional, creative learning methods.

I really enjoied the trial lesson, great range of content, very relaxed and encouraging when it came to correcting mistakes. I am looking forward to the next session.

Takeshi-sensei is great! It's clear that he is very experienced with what he is doing, and he is very prepared with lots of materials to use in lessons. If you are more of a beginner, or more intermediate, he will still be able to help you either way.
