I always enjoy lessons with Ruri, she's always present, great sense of humor and a really good teacher. You always feel very encouraged and motivated after each lesson.

I really appreciate the patience that Ruri 先生 has in going over the more difficult material in Genki Lesson 9. I feel like there's so much to remember when it comes to Informal grammar and I'm really grateful that she is both patient and so willing to review the material with me. I feel like without her, I would only be getting half of the explanation as I feel like the textbook by itself is light on explaining the material.

I'm so thankful to have lessons with Ruri sensei. She explains everything clearly and has her own teaching materials that she has created in addition to using the textbook. I am learning short form now and often have trouble remembering the correct conjugations but with Ruri sensei's encouragement I am determined to continue learning and studying.

Great class, my reading skills are better than my speaking skills so I was able to practice putting sentences together. Learned more about the different uses for に。Time always seems to fly by during class :)

Ruri先生 has great materials for making the newer grammar easier to understand. Even though we're using the Genki I textbook in our classes, it doesn't always explain the points as clearly as I'd like. The materials that she has make it easier for me to learn the grammar rules and I really appreciate that about her. Even when there's a lot of material to cover, Ruri先生 makes the learning fun and engaging, I'm always looking forward to my next lesson with her.

Initially took a 30 min trial lesson with Ruri-san and decided to go for a 1 hr lesson. Overall the class had a very cheerful environment and Ruri-san was very encouraging during the time period. Can't wait to do more classes :)
