I had an amazing first lesson with Juan! He is very friendly and helped me feel more confident about my Spanish speaking skills during our conversation! I found it very useful when he typed out any words I didn’t know on the screen so I could read them and take notes. Juan also was great because he had tons of interesting conversation topics; I really enjoyed hearing him talk about Mexican history! Overall, I thought we had a very productive lesson and I can’t wait to work with him again soon!

Juan Carlos is awesome as always! Very patient and supportive. He gives me some structure for the things I need to focus on. He also speaks mostly in Spanish, which is great for me because it helps my listening comprehension. It's only been 4 classes but I can already tell a difference. Take a class with him and just converse for a bit so he can tell where you need help. You will like it!

Juan is a great Spanish teacher Over the last few months, I’ve grown to really appreciate him He is very humble, kind and emotionally intelligent He has a good sense of humour and I enjoy speaking with him and making jokes and hearing jokes He is more than just a Spanish teacher he cares and has a beautiful heart. He is also very personable and I can see myself visiting him when I eventually go to Mexico. I recommend you take him as a teacher.

I'm more of an introverted person so Juan Carlos was great to speak with because he could easily keep the conversation going. Just what I needed!
