Just had my first Russian lesson and I’m not even gonna lie—I went in a little nervous 😅 But my instructor immediately changed that. He’s engaging, energetic, and really pays attention. Even with the time difference, he showed up friendly and focused, making sure I actually understood instead of just rushing through. And I have to say—the lessons are NOT boring. I’ve dealt with that before, where you feel like you’re fighting to stay awake. His lessons will definitely not put you into a coma 😂 Everything is interactive, smooth, and actually keeps your mind working. The Cyrillic alphabet had me thinking it would be intimidating—like nitrogen 😭 Sounds intense at first, but once you’re around it, you realize it’s not scary, just unfamiliar. That’s exactly how he made it feel. Now I’m excited to keep going. Give me a little time and I’ll be sounding confident, sharp, and fully in command of the language—sounding like I belong in the culture 😎🔥 10/10.

Thank you for another fantastic class. I love how you are detailed in your explanations and how you take your time to make sure I'm understanding as we cover the material. I most of all enjoy the positive, relaxed, and joyous atmosphere. I can't wait to laugh some more in our next lesson.

I have been taking lessons with Rosti for one year and I continue to look forward to my lessons every week! He is a kind, fun, and encouraging teacher. He creates a warm and welcoming space for learning Russian.

Rosti is an excellent tutor, he is always organised and even as a complete beginner I feel comfortable trying to speak in Russian during lessons :) I highly recommend!
