Hi, My name is Betsy, I'm 26 years old and I'm from Cuba. I'm an Industrial Engineer graduated in La Habana, but I like to learn English and teach Spanish as well. In the first class we will establish what your aspirations and goals are in terms of learning Spanish and from that base we will work in the following classes, using the learning styles that best suit you. It doesn't matter if your level is beginner, intermediate or advanced, I can help you to improve. I will provide you material to study according to your level and motivations. So far this has been a very easy learning experience. She takes a ton of the pressure off. She is able to explain it in simple terms for conversation and has a fundamental understanding of the words in terms of a grammar instructor ie. present progressive, past participle etc.
I previously had instructors that asked me to only speak to them in spanish but then i couldnt explain what I didn't understand. She also is very intuitive in learning where your current level of Spanish is. I was nervous to book a lesson with her because I was filtering strictly based on professional teachers like my previous lessons but realized that was ignorant. She teaches professionally, with a curriculum if you like, and without pretense.
