Rioplatense Accent. Learn the Spanish you need to live, travel, and connect in Uruguay and Argentina Hi! I’m Jemima, from Montevideo, Uruguay. I teach with a clear and natural Rioplatense accent — the Spanish spoken in Uruguay and Argentina. I live in Brazil with my family, and I pour my passion for communication and creativity into dynamic, engaging, and energetic classes. If you want to learn Spanish in an enjoyable and effective way, focused on fluency and cultural connection, I invite you to live the language — and the Rioplatense culture — with me! I believe that patience and good humor in class are essential, as well as an effective methodology that adapts to each student’s real needs. My goal is for each student to enjoy the process and achieve their objective of speaking Spanish fluently and confidently. The materials I use are very diverse: readings, games, videos, music, and interactive activities. What interests me most is awakening curiosity and inspiring the desire to learn. For Portuguese speakers, I work with students of all levels. For students with other language backgrounds, my classes are designed for learners from A2 level onward. With beginners, I use the TPRS method (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling), based on learning through stories in a natural, motivating, and practical way. I also use my own Spanish materials, specially created to help students develop the four skills naturally and make fast, enjoyable progress.

Jemima does an amazing job of tailoring the lessons to your needs.
