Hi I’m Mari sensei from Japan. I am a certified Japanese teacher and teach Japanese online. I live in Okayama Prefecture happily with my husband and three children. When I was 26 years old, I went to Toronto, Canada for a working holiday. I'm always interested in foreign cultures, so I'm looking forward to seeing many people here on italki!

It's already been five lessons and I'm learning a lot with Mari sensei! She is very patient and her explanations are very easy to understand. Mari-sensei was very patient and I felt very comfortable taking my time with my limited Japanese to speak even in broken sentences. She corrected gently, helped me along in sentences, and complimented when I was correct.
