My name is Sybs, and I have always been fascinated by foreign languages. I am a traveller, and have lived all over the world, lastly in Mexico and California. I love to connect with people from different cultures & backgrounds. I grew up in Zug in Switzerland, and that is also the region my Swiss German accent stems from. My favourite Swiss city is Zürich. I am a fashion stylist besides teaching languages, and my previous career was in nursing. At the beginning of this year, I moved back to Europe in order to work in fashion in Paris. I love swimming & surfing. I am looking forward to meet you. Let's have some fun learning a new language!지도 경험
My specialty is teaching conversation with role plays. We can act out situations from your daily life, such as supermarket, making appointment, job interview. I take teaching serious, and at the same time I like to have fun with it. Conversation is very important to me, and you will have the opportunity to practice talking, as that is how you get fluent speaking a new language. It is ok to make mistakes, as that is the only way to learn, and get better at speaking a foreign language. I can teach in Swiss German, German, English, Spanish, French. I like my classes to be interactive, so we can have actual conversations. I also use visual material, such as images & charts. My specialty are role plays. We can act out situations from your daily life, such as buying at supermarket, scheduling appointment, job interview. I like to give homework, as in my own experience, the practice in between lessons helps the brain stay active by remembering the new skills learnt in the last class. And of course: Everything is more fun with a smile!
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you can't attend a scheduled lesson, and you give me less than 24 hours notice, or not at all, I will have to charge you the full lesson price. Thank you all for your cooperation!내 수업 자료

She is patient and encourages me to keep improving. She is always very motivated. Gives homework where you talk about it in the next lesson. The student can choose the topic.

I've had such a positive experience working with Sybs on Swiss German. She's very upbeat and energetic and meets her students where they're at. She's great at integrating a mix of grammar materials and casual conversation into our lessons. I especially appreciate that she'll take notes while I'm speaking and then after I get through my thought she'll go back over mistakes I made and have me try to correct them myself. A great mix of encouraging and challenging!
