It is not often that I write reviews, but with an instructor as great as Nicolas, it feels wrong not to as the praise is so well deserved. Nicolas is someone with the magnetic ability to create interest and connection in seemingly any topic, where you forget about your unsteadiness in the language and are able to talk to him as you would an old friend. His conversational skills are enough to bring the quietest of people to be volunteering to converse in French. He treats every moment with thought and care, but most importantly introspection and intelligence. When trying to improve a language, conversations are often redundant and lacking in color. However, Nicolas’ unique approach in allowing the student to have meaningful exchanges that surpass small talk make the lessons worthwhile and enjoyable. Because the student is enjoying the conversation taking place, the learning becomes simple; mistakes do not feel serious and improvements are natural. One of the best teachers!

Nicolas was super helpful and patient with helping me dig up the French I learned 45 years ago. I will be scheduling more sessions with him and looking forward to my progress.

Talking with Nicolas was a pleasant experience. We talked about a lot of things during de lesson. He is very kind and patient. I think it's very good practice, that he's actively writing your mistakes in the chat, so you can review spelling as well. I would definitely recommend him!
