I am Dr. Atena, PhD graduate of Persian literature and language from The Alzahra University. With 15 years of experience in teaching Persian in different universities (4 on italki). I specialize in teaching all levels of Persian from beginners to Advanced. Instead of using a traditional teaching method, I use my own course material, curriculum, and little tips and tricks to make the class easy and effective. For learners at an intermediate level or above, we can explore masterpieces by poets like Sa'di, Hafez, Khayyam and Ferdowsi. I always stay behind my students to motivate them, tailor the lesson to their needs and provide a fun experience overall. ✔ I put forward a unique classroom experience to my students with a multifaceted approach that covers Speaking, Listening, Writing, and Reading skills. ✔ make sure that every session is filled with real-life examples and everyday vocabulary. ✔ teach you grammar notes that complement the other skills mentioned above. ✔ Provide you with Exercises that help you review what we have covered in each lesson and stay on track. ✔ Design a personalized curriculum and materials that are essential to support you throughout your learning journey. After internal difficulties in Iran I was so relieved that Dr Atena and her family are safe. I took a long break and much to my dismay had forgotten much of my Persian. But Hey the journey is fun and I'm glad to be back. Likewise I'm sure Dr Atena is glad to be back.
