I love my lessons with her , we do vocabulary of something current in my life , then we learn some Hangeul characters and we do sentences that I can read . I love when she show me the books we will be using . She recaps everything at the end for me and she send it to me , it easy for me to print out the stuff she gives me as well .

Heejin was super fun and listened to what I need help with. She is organized and engaged. It's also easy to communicate with her in English. Looking forward to our lessons together!

I’ve truly enjoyed learning with teacher Heejin. Her teaching style is calm, clear, super well organised, and very encouraging. She creates a natural and comfortable learning environment where I feel safe to speak and make mistakes. She uses the Sejong textbook in class as a base, but also goes beyond it by taking detailed notes during the lesson and sharing personalized corrections in a Google document when i talk too much and we forget about the book. Which is the goal right? To let us speak and listening. She speaks only in Korean and can be challenging at Times but thanks to that, my listening skills has improved. Her method helps me reflect on what I’ve learned and understand my mistakes more deeply and these days I am too busy as summer is coming in Europe so her document helps me tremendously! I always look forward to our lessons, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a structured yet flexible way to learn Korean.

My teacher has an incredible ability to understand what I’m trying to say, even when I unknowingly invent new words in Korean or am mumbling words in my mouth that only HER can guess! With the notes she makes for me of every little sentences we talked about in class, I made it mine and try to have fun with it! I truly appreciate that because she allows me to talk about any subject, no matter how uninteresting it might be for her. Yet, she has never once shown impatience or anything negative—only kindness and encouragement. I feel incredibly lucky to have her as my teacher.

We had a great conversation today, and I really appreciate how my teacher takes the time to write down key sentences during class. That’s something that makes her lessons truly special! She doesn’t just help you speak more naturally — she also shares her own everyday Korean expressions, which makes the learning feel authentic and alive.

My teacher teaches me in a way that helps me understand things better. If I ask a question, she goes above and beyond—she listens and writes it in both languages. I can memorize and read a bit better now as well. I always have fun in my lessons. We do a bit of reading, talking, listening, and workbook activities. When I don't understand something, I ask for homework, and she gives me homework that helps me review what we learned in the lesson.
