Hi! My name is Boris and I can help you improve your Slovak language. I have a passion for languages and helping people achieve their language goals. I believe that learning a language should be fun and interesting, so I prefer to tailor my lessons to the interests of my students. I was born and raised in Slovakia, where I studied fine arts and design. I also studied fine art in Dublin, Ireland. Currently, I'm studying translation at a university in Trnava, Slovakia. I have been teaching Slovak online since 2021 full-time. I focus on teaching adults, but also have experience with teaching schoolchildren (12+). Before teaching Slovak, I have been teaching group English classes for language schools and business English at different companies. If you're interested and would like to know more, book a trial lesson with me, so we can talk about your goals, expectations and how to best tailor the lessons for you. If you'd like to book a lesson outside my available schedule, please, send me a message, and I'll see if we can agree on a time. We can have general Slovak classes or conversational lessons. My classes usually focus on communication so that my students can speak Slovak fluently and confidently, but also other aspects like grammar or building up vocabulary. I had a great experience with Boris. He is calm, patient and friendly. He made me feel very comfortable speaking Slovak and he was very focused on understanding my goals. Boris is well prepared and has really focused on my level of Slovak, which is advanced, bringing appropriate grammatical exercises on finer details of grammar to class, and bringing interesting articles to read and discuss about topics focusing on American and Slovak culture.
