I’m Lana—a linguist, traveler, and teacher with over 19 years of experience helping adults master English or Russian for real-life situations. My journey as a language educator has taken me across the globe, working with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I previously taught language courses at Chiang Mai University in Thailand, which deepened my understanding of the unique challenges faced by international learners. Living an international, travel-based lifestyle means I constantly move between countries and cultures, and languages have always been at the heart of my life. I specialize in supporting digital nomads, IT freelancers, and global travelers who want to speak confidently for work, travel, relationships, hobbies, and everyday international life. My teaching approach is practical and effective, blending real conversation practice with science-based methods inspired by neuroscience—because I’m fascinated by how the brain learns languages. My mission is to guide you in becoming a version of yourself who can communicate freely and confidently in another language, unlocking new opportunities and experiences. Lana is such a great language instructor! She’s fun, very responsible, and knows how to keep her students motivated. She also understands the difficulty of learning a new language, and I was never afraid to ask questions in her class. I highly recommend Lana to any Russian learners!!
