Hi. My name is Shawn. I'm an American living in the state of Massachusetts and so my native language is American English. My hobbies include hiking, camping, working out, reading, learning languages, programming, and reading about computing & programming, quantum mechanics, astronomy, language, and the like.

My approach to teaching is one of patience, understanding, and the use of examples from real life that matter to the learner. As a native English speaker, I can also help with subtle nuances in American slang to give you a more natural sound when speaking. I'm also able to adjust my speed based on the comfort level of the learner to accommodate their needs.

I'm offering conversational English practice. My style is very interactive and dependent on your interests. My approach is flexible to make sure you get as much out of the interaction as possible.
