Ksana

Ksana has been an incredible teacher. I came in with a very specific goal - to improve my conversational Russian while I am taking a university course that focuses more on writing - and she has put together a lesson structure that is perfectly tailored to goals, my current level, and my interests. She also writes down the key points of our conversation so I can return to it after our lessons, and makes flashcards with phrases we used in our lesson - which means that I am learning how to say the things that are most directly relevant to the conversations I want to be having. The way she breaks down difficult grammatical concepts provides a level of clarity that I have not been able to find anywhere else. I cannot recommend her as a teacher strongly enough!

When I talk to Ksana I feel so lucky that I have found a teacher who can give me so much clearly understandable information. Ksana knows how to communicate well. She is the type of person that you could talk to all day. If you want someone who is interesting to talk to, who understands how to explain the nuances of Russian and who obviously loves languages in general, then my advice is to choose Ksana!

I have learned a bunch of languages online and offline, and Ksana is definitely one of the best teachers I ever had! She is very encouraging and adapts the lessons, schedule, and content to my individual needs - I highly recommend learning with her!

Ksana has been really flexible in working with me on the areas of my Russian language learning that I want to focus on. She is so patient and knows how to provide corrections and vocabulary naturally throughout conversation, without making it feel like a formal classroom. She has a creative and thoughtful way to explain grammar so that the language is memorable. Highly recommend Ksana for any level or language goal!
