I’m a native speaker of both languages, based in Kenya, with roots in Tanzania and Rwanda. I will also be teaching Swahili and Kinyarwanda for travelling, if you wish to travel to any Swahili or Kinyarwanda-speaking country and want to learn the basics, I will be here to help you work on travel-related words.

Umohoza Karen is an outstanding teacher. Im a teacher myself, so i can be a little bit too picky sometimes, but this has been a truly fullfilling learning experience. No doubt I will continue to learn with her.

If it were possible I would definitely rate Umuhoza Karen much higher.
She was very kind and understanding in her approach and always encourages me to keep speaking Swahili. She made the lesson very fun and interactive, and she is very knowledgeable about the Swahili language, she explains clearly and precisely more than what the word means but how to use it properly she is one of the best Swahili teachers out there.
I'll definitely be doing more lessons with her, and I have nothing but great things to say about her.
