Moien, I’m Lisa, a passionate language learner and tutor from a small country in the middle of Europe: Luxembourg. I've been working as a tutor for many years now and especially love helping people learn my rare mother language. I'm a very open-minded person and I think it's incredibly exciting to get to know other cultures and languages. In my free time I like reading, playing volleyball, running, trying out new recipes, and going for little trips on the weekend:)지도 경험
I'm always friendly and patient with my students as I know from experience that learning a new language is a big endeavour. I therefore want to give you the right support and make your learning experience fun and dynamic. It doesn't matter whether you have just started with Luxembourgish or already know a little bit, I'll make sure to challenge you and elevate your skills to the next level. For me the focus is on communication and I want to provide you with the necessary confidence to communicate clearly in Luxembourgish. This can either be with more informal sessions based largely on speaking, or more formal sessions with additional exercises covering grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. I’ll provide all the teaching materials for our lessons and I can even give you additional homework to support your learning process.

Another super lesson with Lisa. We always chat about events of the previous week and I gain new related vocabulary. Every lesson there is an interesting article to discuss, the subject is very current, and the level appropriate. Lisa makes learning Luxembourgish so interesting and so achievable. 🙏

Lisa is always very organized and friendly. I have been working with her to prepare for the sproochentest and she has developed lesson plans, starting from the basics. I had a fantastic year-long journey with Lisa tutoring me in preparation for the Sproochentest. Her curriculum is structured yet creatively tailored, her instruction is engaging and constructively corrective, her personality is energetic and warm. I felt that we were working together toward a common goal, and was very supported and motivated. Relative to my past experiences being instructed in 5 other language, she has set a new standard. I felt confident - though of course a bit anxious - going into my Sproochentest, and passed on this first attempt. Huge Thanks to Lisa for her guidance, feedback, and support throughout this journey!
