How time flies! I’ve been taking lessons with Sensei for three years now, and it’s been such a rewarding journey. When I first joined her class, it was right after my JLPT N4 exam. Back then I still felt unsure about what I had learnt and how to apply it in real-life situations. Thanks to Sensei’s patient guidance and engaging lessons, I’ve grown so much in both confidence and ability. She always puts in a lot of effort to customise her lesson plans according to my goals and proficiency—never forgetting to push me just a little bit more each time. Her lessons not only give me the chance to practise Japanese every week, but also offer insights into Japanese culture and history. Though I can’t say I’m good enough yet, I’ll continue to work hard. I always look forward to our sessions—thank you, Sensei, for your dedication and encouragement!

Kumiko has been teaching me everything about job interviews and business Japanese. She and I are preparing for Japanese job interviews and writing my resume. I appreciate that she always plans and prepares for our lessons. After taking her class, I fell more confident to use Japanese for work and private.

先生、402レスんありがとうございました。楽しかったです。 Kumiko Sensei is a wonderful tutor/teacher. We have had 402 lessons together. All this time she has been very, very patient with me. She creates a very safe environment to speak Japanese. I remember on our very first lesson together, she promised me that if she had to explain something to me a "hundred times" she would. And Kumiko Sensei has kept her promise. She makes learning Japanese fun. Kumiko Sensei is one of the reasons why I never gave up. 先生、ありがとうございました！！！
