I am Marwa Mousa, a native Arabic speaker from Egypt. I have over 13 years of experience teaching Arabic language & Holy Quran for non-natives. My passion led me to change my career as a software engineer to be an Arabic teacher. Teaching Arabic is not just a job for me, it is a life where I can share my passion for the Arabic language. I teach Modern Standard Arabic, Colloquial/Spoken Arabic, Quranic Arabic & The Holy Quran. I teach all levels & ages. I understand the challenges of learning a new language. And I always try to be the ideal teacher that I wish for myself.
From 2012 to now, I have been fortunate to teach more than a thousand people from all over the world. I have a BA in Computer Science from Ain Shams University (2003 to 2007), and during my undergraduate studies I was working as a journalist & writer. During my 5 years of experience in software testing & quality engineering, I was also doing my second undergraduate degree (2008 to 2012) so I got a BA in Arabic Language & Islamic Studies from Cairo University, where I also got a certificate to teach Arabic as a foreign language in 2012. I won the best short story award from the Egyptian Writers Union in 2009.
I am a fluent English speaker, very patient, supportive, organized, flexible & friendly. I create a customized & well-structured course according to my students' level, needs & goals and support them to practice the language skills. I use a wide range of learning materials & give homework assignments.내 수업 자료

I have been really enjoying Mrs Marwa's closes so much to the point I booked like 9 hours of class this week. She continues to test your knowledge of the units she teaches and really encourages you to practice speaking arabic and truly understanding how to make and say the sentences. I have had other teachers but I finally feel like I'm improving and truly understanding the subject and memorizing the vocabulary in a faster pace because of her teaching style and continuously making me use previous lesson knowledge and mixing it with the new lessons.

Marwa is patient with my mistakes. She challenges me to use the new vocabulary and verb conjugations that I learned. She has tailored the lessons to what I want to learn. She is flexible with scheduling the class sessions and helps me learn at my own pace.

I am very thankful for italki platform for bringing teachers Such as sister MarwaMousa to us. She is really good and we connected instantly. I loved her simplicity.
