Γεια σας! Hello!
I am an archaeologist passionate about history, culture and languages. I started teaching Modern and Ancient Greek for the very first time at 2015, and for the last three years I am mainly working as a tutor to foreigners. If your goal is learning Greek for traveling, preparing for exams, communicate with friends and family or in general to survive in Greece, then I can be your teacher!

I am a friendly, positive and respectful tutor. I always encourage my students to embrace their mistakes and feel confident about their effort. I have a passion on teaching my language and culture and this is why I enjoy taking things out of the strict scope of learning how to speak, read and write.
My main goal is to help my student approach the Greek mentality and history through the educational process. I am also an etymology nerd so feel free to ask me anything about words! We can also discuss a lot around philosophy, history, monuments, food and sightseeing.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
I try to make my lessons fun and easy to follow. I use a combination of grammar/syntax theory with reading texts and analyzing the vocabulary, accent and pronunciation practice, audios, speaking activities and a lot of communication.
The content can also be adapted based on your needs and interests. My students will receive personalised homework, articles, links, activities and ways to practice independently.
I put a lot of effort in my courses, as teaching and passing knowledge is one of my passions in life.

Eirini is truly marvelous! She makes every lesson super helpful, yet entertaining. She walks you through grammar sharp corners, motivates you to speak up and get better, and makes you feel your own progress every single time. As an extra bonus, Eirini shares language tips that are not only fascinating but also really useful in handling those language questions that would otherwise make you go, "hmm?". I totally recommend Eirini for any level - I've started from scratch, and now I'm B1, and still going strong.

Eirini is endlessly patient as I try to learn all 6 variations of the Greek version of the vowel E. So grateful to her! My family in Greece has already noticed a difference in my skills after 3 calls with her. :) Plus, as an archaeologist, she brings so much anthropological knowledge to the table!

I had a great first lesson with Eirini, I can’t wait for my next ones, I had a lot of opportunity to speak and I started with next to zero Greek and came away with substantially more in just 30 mins! The lesson was clearly planned and Eirini adapted it to where my level was, great resources that are shared at the end so I could concentrate on speaking and catching up on notes later. I’m definitely booking longer sessions going forward as the time flew and I was left wanting to do more :)

Eirini is a wonderful teacher. She was fun to talk to but also well-prepared with professional materials. So, I really enjoyed our first session. In addition, Eirini provided me with a bunch of tips and resources to further improve my Greek. Highly recommend!
