For italki, I specialise in teaching students at B2+ to C2 levels (Upper Intermediate to Advanced).
I chose a career in teaching because I like meeting people and helping them progress. I'm an average person like you, so I have good days and not so good days, but, I always try to be positive and supportive for my students. In fact I really enjoy working for italki because it allows me to meet people from all over the world. It's always fascinating to listen to you talk about the the things that you like, the culture in your country, your opinions on current affairs, your hobbies, your hopes and dreams, etc, etc, and to help you improve your English communication skills.지도 경험
I focus on effective communication. I have a large amount of experience of helping people who wanted to improve their speaking skills. Often they had spent years 'studying English' but lacked opportunities to speak.
Now we have the possibility to use this wonderful technology and speak to people all over the world.
I understand that speaking is scary. Nobody likes making mistakes. I make lots of mistakes when I try to speak Italian or German, so I know how you feel. But we can learn from our mistakes.
My main objective is to help you become more confident. So if you want to do grammar exercises I can certainly help, and can supply materials, but that's not the main focus of my lessons.내 강의 및 지도 스타일
You are the boss! You might well have studied in the past in a group class, but you will find things a bit different in online one-to-one lessons. Normally, a group teacher needs to manage the time and keep every student involved. So the teacher leads and you follow.
In our lessons there's much more time for you. I will prompt, suggest, propose...and I will accompany you to help you achieve your goals...I will even help you choose objectives and give feedback.. but ultimately you decide where you want to go. After all most people say they want to FEEL more confident in general, and especially less nervous when speaking, and only you can say how you feel.내 수업 자료

Personal Tutor/Lecturer (I held 3 different jobs with this employer)1. Sociology Lecturer. Teaching Social Research Methods.
2. Personal Tutor – Humanities. I had responsibility for the social and emotional welfare of pupils, and for assisting pupils in preparing for progression into work or further study.
3. Trainee Teacher - History/Humanities. I taught Beginners ICT, GCSE & A-level History, and Access HE course (History of Health).
2014 - 2015
Tutor of English and MathsHelping to set up a new online scheme helping adults in the UK who did not, for whatever reason, achieve English and Maths qualifications whilst at school. I supported learners, who worked at their own pace, to help guide their progress towards qualifications.
2016 - 2018
English Language TeacherI work as a freelance teacher with mature students, on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, at one of most prestigious, and longest established schools in Canterbury. I specialise in helping improve communication skills for both General and Business English.

I really enjoyed our conversation this evening. We talked about traditions, culture, sports and different approaches to look at life and the world. I highly recommend having a lesson with Chris for his engaging and inspiring way of teaching English.

Chris is a patient teacher. He always points out my grammar errors and I love this way because no one will help me about pointing out those in the daily conversations. Chris is also a professional teacher. He guides me to talk about a topic from the easy level to the mixde level. I means Chris gave me some materials and then talked about in several lessons and in the fifth lesson, Chris let me try to make a presentation about the topic. I think I learn a lot in this teaching way and use many new words and change my passive words to active words in my dictionary.

I really like Chris' lesson. I always can learn new knowledge and learn western culture and difference. Chris explain the words that i am not so familiar with patiently and humorously. He guides me guess the meaning according to the context situation and try to let me use some vacobularies in different situation.
