Enthusiastic language teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience. I’m Catharina, a German teacher from Hanover now living in Spain with over 10 years of international experience. I make learning German engaging and accessible through movies, music, conversations, and tailored materials like reading texts and subtitled videos. As a multilingual learner, I understand common challenges and adapt to your learning style—whether visual or audio-based. My goal is to turn mistakes into progress and build your confidence in speaking. I also speak English, Spanish, Italian, and French, so I can support beginners in these languages as well. Apart from teaching, I'm passionate about learning various languages through online classes and self-study. Therefore, I have tried different approaches to learning a language and I am aware of the difficulties that can arise. Maybe you are a visual learner like myself. I usually work with reading materials and video content with subtitles to give you the chance to read while listening to the language. If you prefer to learn a language through series, songs and other kinds of audio material, I can provide you with a variety of German language contant of your choice!
