As a teacher, I'm prepared to work with students of all levels. If you're just starting to learn Finnish, I can guide you through the basics of the language. Learning any foreign language requires concentration, desire, and time, and as a teacher, I expect these qualities from my students.

I tailor my lessons and teaching style to the individual preferences of each student, as everyone has their own learning style. Before we begin our lessons, we can discuss and identify the methods that work best for you, in order to achieve the best possible results.

Thanks to Taisia's lessons, I did well on the YKI test and finally got the B1 level, starting from almost zero nine months ago. Taisia helped a lot with essays, dialogs, practicing the right vocabulary, and giving some tips about the exam while keeping lessons balanced and covering day-to-day colloquial Finnish speech.
Taisia is a patient and encouraging teacher, boosting the confidence and helping to overcome the speaking barrier. Lots of homework, writing, grammar, speaking, and listening - but you will see the results soon.

I have had two lessons so far with Taisia and I will be continuing :) She gave me homework and checked in about the level to make sure she provides me lessons that are appropriate. I also appreciate that she uses only finnish in class. I am looking forward to practicing my grammar and speaking in Finnish
