I put off learning Urdu for ages but now I wish I’d started years ago because Laiba makes it so fun and easy to understand. I’ve been so impressed with the effort she puts into each class. She breaks down the grammar, has resources to back this up, and knows which ideas to introduce gradually. She quickly assesses your experience and adjusts the lesson speed to suit you, whether you have prior experience with the language or you’re starting from scratch. Plus we always have a right laugh. I figured I'd update this review since I've been taking classes with Laiba for six months now. With just one class a week in that time, I've gone from zero to being able to express many of my thoughts and having day-to-day conversations. Every lesson is well structured, full of examples and exercises and even comes with homework. The teacher readily responds to feedback and will adapt the lesson to your learning speed. So I always feel that I am challenged just the right amount. Urdu is not the easiest language to learn but her classes make things like grammar fun. I can see from the other reviews on here as well that many of her students have become long-term students, which speaks for itself. Overall, I'd highly recommend you take a class with her.

Laiba's teaching has been exceptional in my Urdu learning journey. Having completed over 40 lessons with her, I'm happy with my progress. Her exceptionally supportive approach, learning materials and patience has significantly enhanced my learning experience. Thanks to her teaching, I’m now able to hold basic conversations and read simple stories in Urdu. Also, I’m now able to express my thoughts to my family members in Pakistan which has been goal of mine for awhile.
