Hi! I'm Cynthia. I am a professional English teacher from the United States. I have a bachelors degree in English Language Learners Studies and a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Since I started teaching English in 2011, I have helped students learn general and business English, prepare for presentations, and practice interview questions. I have an online learning management system that I use to teach speaking, writing, listening, and grammar. There are also reading and vocabulary activities. Please have your webcam ready at the first lesson. I do not give lessons without video.

I have taught more than eight thousand lessons on italki, and I really enjoy talking with my students and helping them to improve their English level.

내 강의 및 지도 스타일

Our lesson will start with a few minutes of conversation. During this time, I will ask you about your work and your interests in order to give you the opportunity to practice talking about yourself and engaging in conversation. After that I will correct your homework assignments, and we can discuss any mistakes that you have made. Then we will start a new activity using my materials, or we can work on something that you need to do such as proofreading a document that you have written, practicing a presentation, or practicing pronunciation. Lessons for beginners will be more basic but I strive to be engaging at all levels.
