Rahel

Rahel is great teacher! Attentive, supportive and makes the lessons fun. I feel the course is tailored specifically for me. I would recommend Rahel to anyone wishing to learn Amharic.

Hello! I have been in over a dozen of Rahel's lessons, and each time, I leave with more enthusiasm for the language. She teaches in a way that engages and holds me accountable to the homework that I should know. At the same time, she is very gracious when I do not know and readily slows down a lesson to meet me at my understanding. It has been a pleasure learning from her. I am learning Amharic because of an Ethiopian relative. I was Rahel's first ever student and I have since come to regard her as family. Rahel has helped me to read Amharic, to pronouce it properly and to start writing complex sentences and speaking it too. Amharic is hard for an English speaker, much harder than other languages I have learned, which is why I value Rahel's teaching so much. But mostly my family and I just value Rahel, herself.
