She provides useful examples that demonstrate the way Japanese grammar should/not be used and why it is or isn't culturally appropriate; this level of learning is critical and cannot be achieved through self-study alone. (Not to mention her 'people skills' are off the chart.) She's knows how to teach--simply put!!

Candy is such an amazing teacher. Her teaching methods are definitely student-centered, involving the personalized learning that a student needs. She is personable and wise beyond her years. I often wonder, "How did I happen to find this great teacher?" She makes you love learning.
