Hi, I'm Tashi Peiljee (བཀྲ་ཤིས་འཕེལ་རྒྱས་), I grew up on the Tibetan Plateau, playing with Tibetan mastiffs, yaks, and horses. Living as a herder taught me to read nature long before I read books.I have a Master's in Tibetanology and a Bachelor's in Anthropology. I teach Tibetan not just as a language, but as a living culture.I've been teaching Tibetan for 6 years — to kids of relatives and friends, and for one year at Chengdu International School.
In my class, I use my own materials. We listen and look at pictures — images help you remember. I also use PPT and games. I always encourage you to speak. The more you say, the more it sticks.I also know Wylie transliteration (writing Tibetan with English letters) — great for beginners or typing.I love learning too. Right now I'm teaching myself Sanskrit. In my free time, I play basketball, swim, sing, dance, and photograph wildlife like snow leopards.
My lessons are tailored to your goals — daily conversation, classical Tibetan, or culture. Learning should be fun, relaxed, and practical. Let's try together!내 수업 자료
