Hi! I’m Lina, a bilingual German-English speaker raised in Belgium and Berlin. My multicultural upbringing and graduation from a bilingual school fuel my love for languages—and teaching them! Currently studying Occupational Therapy in Ireland, I blend my learning from therapeutic techniques with language instruction to create personalized, stress-free lessons. Over the past 2 years, I’ve taught German and English to diverse learners—from school students to summer camp kids—adapting to each unique background and goal. I've taken A LOT of lessons on italki in several languages, and Lina is honestly one of the best teachers I've had. She's a natural teacher and her lessons are focused, directed, and positive. I can't recommend a teacher more strongly.

My trial lesson with Lina was without doubt the best lesson I've experienced on iTalki. It was structured, addressed my goals, and I walked away feeling like I had a plan for moving forward, along with great feedback in the moment to help improve my many grammatical errors when speaking.
