With a decade of experience from teaching ballet, and from teaching in Alternative Education (high school) back in New Zealand, I believe we rise by lifting others.
After two years on the other side of the world, I wanted to honour my roots and have my share in keeping Finnish language alive!지도 경험
After years of studying all these different languages, I understand the pain of learning new grammar, and the frustration when trying to express yourself without having the right words.
Instead of drowning students in new rules of the language or gluing their noses into to the books..
My main goal is to keep the lesson topics always interesting, touching topics that are useful on a daily basis, with emphasis on vocal communication skills!
With me you get to talk, sign, read poems and articles, write whatever challenges you.

Hän on paras kieliopettaja, jonka olen koskaan tavannut. Jokainen oppitunti hänen kanssaan on mukava ja hyödyllinen, koska hän on ystävällinen, luova ja huomaavainen. Hänen selitystaitonsa on erityisen hyvä, joka auttaa minua oppimaan paljon, erityisesti uusista sanoista ja ääntämistä.
She is the best language tutor I have ever met. Every lesson with her is pleasant and useful thanks to her friendly, creative and attentive approach. Her explanation skill is exceptionally good, which helps me learn a lot, especially about new words and pronunciation.

I’ve really enjoyed lessons with Sylvia. She’s really patient and listens when I speak. But can you please give me reading work for example books that are suitable for my Finnish level?
