Hiii, مرحبا, Bonjour, Salut! My name is Haneen. I am Palestinian , and I go at the American University of Beirut, pursuing a double major in English Literature and Public Administration. I grew up speaking English since both of my parents studied in English, and my eldest sister is a professor of Comparative Literature ,so you could say it runs in our blood :). I have also lived in the United States for some time, which shaped my (sort of) American accent. I love working with international students and served as the head mentor of the International Students Program at my campus for a year. I also love children and run my own art therapy program for kids affected by war/trauma.

As a teacher, I’m passionate, empathetic, and deeply committed to my students’ growth. I bring cultural awareness and personal experience into the classroom, creating a space where learners feel seen, heard, and respected. I aim to empower my students, not just academically, but personally, by building their confidence and encouraging critical thinking!!

I value flexibility and creativity whether you learn better through visuals, conversations, or structured grammar, I adjust my approach to suit you. My teaching style is warm, engaging, and informative, and I believe learning should be both meaningful and enjoyable. I have also worked with people from many different cultures, nationalities, religions, and backgrounds, which allows me to create an inclusive and respectful learning environment for every student :)))
