I love teaching Hebrew and seeing my students succeed 🌟 For me, language learning should be fun, creative, and come from the heart. I learned English as a kid through MTV and The Sims game, so I know how powerful real-life content can be. As I learn Portuguese 🇧🇷, I understand the struggles of learning a new language and how important it is to feel safe and supported. With a background in informal education and a passion for music and design, I create lessons that are personalized, fun, and full of good energy. I’m here to help you grow with patience, creativity, and a smile 🙂

In my lessons, we’ll focus on speaking, reading, and writing Hebrew at your pace and level 🧩 Whether you’re just starting or already speaking, I’ll help you build confidence and enjoy the process. We’ll explore Israeli culture, music, movies, slang, and real-life situations to keep things fun and useful. You’ll get a shared folder 📁 with all your materials, and after each lesson we’ll review and adjust the plan together. Most of all, I adapt to your interests and style, so learning Hebrew feels personal, enjoyable, and effective😊

I've had a fair amount of lessons with Shai now, and he is a really good teacher. He uses a wide range of materials which help in different ways and my speaking has improved so much since I started learning with him. For the first time in years on my last trip to Israel, I actually managed to speak more than very basic Hebrew in places where there did not speak English. I'd fully recommend learning with Shai to anyone considering learning Hebrew
