In 2004, moving to Brazil, I noticed a lack of native German teachers. This need motivated me to start my journey as a private teacher, refining my teaching techniques since 2006.
Fluent in English too, I chose to specialize in my native language due to the importance of correct pronunciation. A non-native teacher may unintentionally pass on pronunciation vices to their students.

Fabian ist wirklich ein toller Deutschlehrer!:) Ich lerne schon seit vielen Stunden mit ihm und nach jeder Unterrichtstunde merke ich, wie sich meine Deutschkentnisse verbessern. Mit Fabian habe ich endlich angefangen, meine Fehler zu beseitigen. Oft verwende ich neu gelernte Wörter in meinem Alltag und habe wirklich dabei viel Freude. Besonders gefällt mir, dass Fabian während des Unterrichts mich korrigiert und die bereits korrigierten Sätze in dem Chat direkt notiert. Wir haben immer interessante Themen zu besprechen. Immer gerne wieder und weiter so! Danke!

I have tried a few German teachers now on italki, but I enjoyed class with Fabian the most. The class was great mix of conversation and gentle, but consistent correction. It was very relaxed but I also learned a lot in a short amount of time, which is how I like to learn.
